5:10 p.m. — Addresses by African leaders

Individual addresses by heads of state and senior political leaders on their countries’ priorities for the natural-resources sector and the partnerships they seek with international capital. Speakers to be announced.

5:25 p.m. — Presentation: Africa country risk and rule of law

An independent risk advisory assesses political stability, contract enforceability and governance trends across the featured markets — the questions investors ask first. Presenter to be announced.

5:45 p.m. — Panel I: The opportunity on the ground

African executives and political leaders on resource endowments, value-addition strategies, infrastructure and what a bankable project looks like from the African side of the table.

6:10 p.m. — Panel II: Financing the pathway to U.S. markets

SPAC sponsors, underwriters and investors on how African resource companies access U.S. public markets: structures, diligence, governance expectations, how critical-minerals SPAC combinations have been used to raise capital and consolidate the sector, and what gets a deal done.
